NEW ISSUEs: no playback for some streaming media in Rose 150b after update

Hi RoseLOA,

per your request, here is a video showing Qobuz testing with (3) WiFi connected devices on home network that work fine and then test using Rose 150b on same network, failing playback.

UPDATE: I borrowed a different router and swapped out the ISP’s (Spectrum) for it.

Works!

Spectrum is due to come for a service call today and I will insist on a new router.

Strange that with Qobuz app on 150b that it wouldn’t work with Spectrum router, while Tidal, RoseTube etc did. Also, with ‘broken’ Spectrum router, why Qobuz web app would play songs on non-150b devices (!).

Maybe useful to HiFi Support, I don’t know.

Not sure if this was some kind of MAC address conflict <-> Qobuz or dirty cache or maybe even old IP assignments not getting cleaned up on router.

This was a tough one!

UPDATE and ISSUE Identified:

Spectrum, today confirmed that they have a network issue with the main router(s) that impacts spotty connectivity with certain apps and has a ticket open to troubleshoot

This impacts the following apps at least:

  • Qobuz

  • Prime video

  • UPS app

  • DoorDash

  • others

So! Until Spectrum addresses this new issue at their data centers I can close this ticket with HiFi Rose (thanks for assistance RoseLoa) and continue to use a TP-Link router.

Qobuz plays fine and fast now

Thanks!
