Along those lines, the new app shows under Folk-> British and Irish Fork.

It should read British and Irish Folk.

StandardModel

New version for Android as well today !

The updated app drains the battery from my IPad.

The App keeps asking me to register my device. How can i mange to get it done, seems not to work…
Best regards

I for get to say, device is getting very hot using the Rose app! Drains battery in hours. iPhone and iPad.

Hello @Bowie111,

I’m sorry to hear that. I don’t use the app (5.07.13) on my iPad, but on my Macbook Pro, which is always connected to the power supply. To save the battery and keep the charging cycles to a minimum, I use the software (AlDente Pro). (Not for iPad)

According to the CPU check, my cores (12) are also under higher load. They are currently at 30% with Safari and this site open. Before, it was around 9%. No other tabs open in Safari and no other programs open that I don’t have open anyway. Of course, the Rose app is running in the background while I’m typing (listening to a bit of music). No need to panic yet for my M3 pro chip, which is not fazed at all. The temperature has also risen. It was usually around 50 degrees Celsius at the same room temperature and with the same programs open.
Currently, see picture.

Have a nice weekend anyway

Addendum:

I had updated the app (5.07.13) from the App Store just before this post. Then I closed the app, drank a case of beer   and opened the app again to listen to music. My Macbook is running like before (temperature / core load) see picture.

Hi @Bonte ,

Despite having installed the latest version of RoseConnect …13, my MacBook Pro continues to overheat whenever the program is running (even in the background). Additionally, the program drains the battery of my new laptop (M2Max,32GB) in just three hours. Are you still experiencing the same issues?

Greetings from Göppingen,

Vik

Guten Tag @VIK,

Bonte :v:t2:

Dear Hi-Fi Rose users

Last week, an update was released for the RoseConnect app.
The update fixed the battery draining phenomenon and the phone getting hot.
Does this phenomenon still occur after updating the RoseConnect app?

Thank you, this solved my issue !

Hi @ROSEHAN The issue of severe overheating persists on the iPhone 15, and the battery drains quickly.

On my MacBook Pro with the M2 Max chip, I am using the iPad app (latest software version).

All devices are running the most up-to-date versions of the software.
