Hi there I’m after a second opinion.
I recently purchased a new RS250 and from the moment I switched it on its giving me this error message in the video I’m about to link.
I’ve already contacted the people I bought it from and they don’t think its faulty. But to me this is faulty and not normal behaviour right?

From the video you sent, it seems that the RS250 is not recognizing the DAC. First of all, try factory reset (RS250–>Settings–>System settings–>Factory reset), and if the same symptom appears, it seems to be repaired.
Contact the distributor in the country where you purchased the RS250 to have it repaired.

Yes I tried the factory reset several times now and it comes up with the same error right from startup.
Thanks for confirming what I already suspected this should help convince them they need to replace the unit or repair it.
When I see the symptom, replacing the Audio board seems to solve all the problems.
