No issues for me with update

Hey, I see so many on here saying there are issues with the latest update I wanted to give what I was told to do. So far it’s been flawless. I have a 250 running wireless and a 130 hardwired, neither are having issues now.

Process I was told, click the update button on the screen of the unit and start the update. Make sure to update the iPhone or whatever devices app. Once the new update is installed click the button for the apps you use and download them from the new selectable store apps. I love this feature because I only use tidal and qobuz, so it’s not hogging things down with the rosetube app I don’t use. Once those are installed open the phone rose app and log in to tidal/qpbuz/ whatever. It must be the phone or tablet app that you log in with otherwise it won’t take the log in. After doing this my units haven’t logged out, no skipping, everything runs faster. For me the update was great. Hope this motivates you guys to do the update.

. The randomness is hard to explain but many of us are faced with persistent issues.

This is after a full day of use. Probably have 10 hours on it since the update and haven’t had a single hick up. I wrote the thread to let people know the log in path etc that I was told and the fact that it has been working great. So definitely worth doing the update if one hasn’t

Good for you, I hope it continues to work that way for. you.

In my case, after updating the App as Rose recently suggested, the situation was re-established and everything works. However, I personally recommend carrying out a factory reset after having carried out a FW update (with db initialisation and everything that must necessarily be done as a result). To give an example, this maneuver has solved a problem with Bluetooth lately and I think it can also be useful for other problems. Personal opinion.

Apart from the Qobuz login issue that required going into the Rose app to log in, everything has been working fine for me, too.

While I think Rose definitely could use more/better QA procedures before releasing software, it works reasonably well for people who are at least somewhat tech savvy and can be bothered to read release notes…

You got away with the errors because you used ios.

I also use PC, Android and iPad. Even now, it only works from the iPad, it won’t even let me log in to the other two.

I think they got caught up in this update. A few people tested it in-house, maybe everyone had an apple…
For such expensive products, it is appropriate to send them out to wider, direct testers.
