No local music on Windows app

I just refreshed all my local music on the SSD in my RS150B. I rebuilt the DB. All is fine on the console and on my iPhone. BUT, on Rose Connect on Windows (4.17.07), when I select MUSIC (on the left), if I click on Album or Sort By, nothing appears “List is Empty”. Under Folder, I see all my folders. But for some reason, the Windows app is not reading the database from the RS150B.

  1. What does the option “Get the database again” do ? There is no documentation for this

  2. What does DB Reset do ? Is this any different than “Reset DB” for a library

  3. Oddly on Windows, under Library, /storage/ROSEDISK shows “Not Connected”. But as I mentioned everything works fine on anything but Windows.

Any ideas on what to do ?

@pjg61

Please check a few things.

  1. What is your Rose device version information?
    Rose device–>Settings–>System info–>System version info
  2. It seems that the RoseConnect PC you are using is using an old version of the app. Please refer to the link below to download the new version of RoseConnect PC.
    [Release] PC Rose Connect Release (Ver 5.7.4 ) (Win/MAC) : HiFi ROSE

Thank you. I was relying on the old Windows app which kept saying that there are no updates. I uninstalled the old app, installed the new app which you pointed to, then it updated itself to v5.9.8 and now my database is appearing properly.

I will continue testing.

I just tried to do what you described above and nothing happens for the download. Can you help me?

Sorry to bother you it finally installed.
