How is VU meter working?
With the previous firmware, they just lay there.

Please share the details of the model you are using, the output information, and the audio source being played, along with the specific situations where the VU meter does not work. We will review them and get back to you with a response
Not using here the Qobuz app, but Qobuz Connect! With 5.0.9.0 I hadn’t this problem.
It can surely depends on the used DAC. Here I’ve a Holo Audio Cyan 2, Holo Audio May and a Luxsin X9 in combination with the rose devices.
USB power is (otherwise Roon has a general problem) set to on for standby.
Using the internal DAC (here with a RS451) doesn’t show this issue.
Rose 150b, the volume level works fine, I mean the VU meter when playing music, it works very slowly and is almost in the right area of the indicator. There have been previous discussions on this topic.

Ho provato più volte ad inviare un video ma il sistema sembra non accettare i video. Sto creando un link di WeTransfer per inviare un album dsf che ha il problema descritto a breve lo invierò. Il rumore si manifesta sia con l’uscita USB che AES EBU. Quindi sia che la conversione sia fatta dal RS130 che dal mio DAC.

This for No 11. The ability to delete files in file Manager. I upgraded without difficulty and many of the improvements are substantial and very much appreciated. I was thrilled to see the ability to delete a file. I’ve asked for that ability for literally years. However, How long does it take to locate a file to delete and then to delete it?
Imagine my surprise when it took 16 seconds to find the file and an equal amount of time to delete it once selected. Internal disk too full? No, less than 10% full.
What’s going on? Does it work? Yes. Does it work well? No. This is another example of HiFi Rose doing the complicated things well and falling on its knees doing simple tasks.

One weird issue during the update.
The install seemed to hang mid update.
Had to do a reboot where the RS520 saw the MCU file and then let me do the update which went thru ok.
Love that we now have mm/dd/yyyy (US thing) and then also the weather has wind too!
(Living in the Windy city… kinda a nice feature.)
The new service Symphony… is a pay service… so you may not want to add it.
Edit… would like to remove it from the Rose One app options too.
VU meters have an issue with Qobuz Connect on RS151. When I hit pause in Qobuz app on MacBook, the VU meters continue to move for about two to three seconds. Hitting play they are about a second delayed to start. I don’t think they are synced while music is playing.

We’ve added a dynamic motion effect to the VU meter so it accurately reflects the audio output, preventing the needle from looking stuck when it reaches its maximum level.
This is a good thing.

We have received the DSD audio files you sent and verified their playback. Since it plays without any issues on our company’s DAC (RD160), it appears to be a DAC compatibility issue. Could you please provide us with the details of the DAC you are currently using?
Does the dynamic motion feature work with a fixed setting?
Non si sente nel vostro sistema il il rumore tra la fine e inizio di ogni traccia? IO ho un dac MSB TECNOLOGY PLATINUM IV e con i firmware precedenti gli stessi file si sentivano senza alcun rumore. IO posseggo circa 200 di questi album dsf e quelli che ho testato dopo l’update hanno questo problema.

IO credo che il problema nasce dalla modifica numero 3 relativa alla riproduzione fsd senza interruzioni. Penso che sia opportuno inserire nelle impostazioni la opzione di scelta tra la vecchia e la nuova impostazione.
