When listening to a radio station that doesn’t provide any information.
Could we install an option to leave the Shazam app active (Yes or No) ?
This way, when changing songs, Shazam would always refresh the currently playing song.

I absolutely love the Shazam feature that you can select which recognizes a song being played on a radio station and then displays a cover and other information for the artist then performing. Could we please have a settings switch to apply this Shazam setting continuously for radio stations so that the artist information would automatically be displayed as each song is being played.

If this feature is too difficult to implement, is there a command on the remote control which will turn on Shazam for a song? That way I can press it each time.

As you said, you can press the Music search button on the RoseRadio playback screen with the remote control.

On the ROSE REMOTE :
- Press LEFT ARROW key to point to Shazam Box on the lower left screen
- Press OK key to start search
Alternatively, on the ROSE CONNECT APP, the Shazam button is readily available…

I’m all in favor of it. Very easy to implement and highly desired. I guess the developers thought it would increase the burden on their server to do this or they have to pay Shazam for each query???

I think it’s possible you may have misunderstood my prior request. I wasn’t asking for the Shazam artist/album search feature of Shazam to be activated as each song was played (the magnifying glass). I was asking that the (Music Search) feature only be activated to show the album cover of the currently playing song on HiFi Rose each time the radio played that song. I wasn’t asking that Shazam go to the next level and find the album for inclusion in a playlist or library.

I misunderstood.
We do not support a separate feature to enable or disable Shazam.
Unfortunately, the album art of the automatically played music will not be changed.
