After updated of XMOS 3115, a problem was found in my RS150.
The output is locked to HDMI and cannot be switched to balance output. The problem still happens after reboot the system.
Speaker makes a spark sound constantly, which is like a sound of poor electrical contact. Only can stop by switch off the power amp. A loud spark sound will be heard when switch off the power amp.
RS150 will auto switch “ON” and the screen menu was hang…
Any suggestion can solve this problem

I had the same problem stuck in HDMI first day I got my RS150 after the firmware update.
To get out of that HDMI mode I performed. factory reset which worked.

Yes. I too faced this problem!
As I got the device only two days back, straight away upgrade to v4 on power up.
Had to reboot to fix it (power off/on from front panel didn’t help)

for me, this defect also manifested itself after 5 months, the XLR output does not work and is dead, the only output that works when I mark the ROSE 150B input icon is HDMI, the others are dead. But if I mark the USB IN input icon, all outputs will open.

I also have this defect on my ROSE 150B and now the ROSE 150B is in service where it changes the whole audio board and there was also a problem in the board connector, this Friday I will know the whole cause of the fault and I will write to you. I think that this defect will be a weak point of the ROSE 150B and the manufacturer should call these devices for repair, the defect manifested me after five months and I am very disappointed because I trusted the ROSE brand.
