Oversampling and filters

Hi everyone,

I was wondering which oversampling and which filters everyone uses
For me I use the Apodizing fast roll-off filter and oversampling is set to 176,4 kHz (4x)
Max sample rate is Auto

After many hours of listening this seems the best for my ears
But Iā€™m curious about others

Filters and their names depend on dac chip in use. For AKM i found this tabel

Apodizing for me. I love the tones and clarity.

Hello, my Naim system is very sensitive, so I have fixed the volume at 1000mv, that setting have change the soundstage and permit me to listen at low volume with out losing anything.
I play between those filters: brick and wall, minimum phase fast rolling and linear phase fast rolling.
And finally I play between 192 and 176.4 resample rate.
At the moment 192 is giving me more headroom.
Voila

Is there different settings for A. Hifi rose direct to amplifier vs. B. Hifi rose through external DAC? Then these settings suggestions need that clarification included. I also would then like to ask, for optimum settings for Hifi Rose direct to amplifier.

When using external Dac these settings do no apply. They have effect on the internal Dac, Akm or Ess.

I use the minimum phase fast-roll-off filter on my RS250
