Hi, I have since quite some time a Rose RS150 that I use with Roon. Recently I notice I see Parametric EQ in the Signal path although I have no DSP functions enabled. I do not see this when playing DSD format. In Roon, no DSP is activated.
Roon forum directs me to you as it seems to be something happening within de Rose streamer.
Any advise ?

How is the volume control set in Roon?
Volume Control is Fixed in Roon.
I haven’t touched the parameters since I’m using the streamer. Disabled DSP and use Fixed Volume output.
I only see this Parametric EQ since the last Roon update so I believe the issue is on their side…
I agree. It seems like Roon is enforcing the EQ setting of Rose streamer regardless of the actual setting on Rose. I changed the EQ of my RS250 to “folk” or “custom 3” and the Roon signal path displayed that accordingly, even though the EQ was set to “off” on Rose…If possible please reach out to Roon and get it fixed @ROSEHAN @ROSELOA Thanks!

My impression is every Hifi Rose streamer user has this issue with Roon after the latest Roon update. I’m surprised that neither Roon nor Hifi Rose have acknowledged this, not to mention fixing it…

There’s problem with displaying the signal path on ROON when Rose is streamer.
RS150 does not support equalizer. It seems like the ongoing test with ROON has been displayed.
Currently, we are collaborating with ROON so that HIFIROSE’s equalizer information can be displayed in ROON’s signal path. We are in the process of defining the support status for each model and clarifying the information to be shared. We will complete the work quickly so that it can be properly displayed.

After the update with software 4.6.06 XMOS 3147 (no information on your website at all) the “display-problem” is fixed on my 150B but now there is always an upcoming pop up with message “Check your login status” in the rose connect 4.5.1 via Mac OS…
