PC Rose connect update fail

Got a message in the windows version to update. (version no. ??). Update gave javascript errors. Install did comlete though, but after a few minutes the javascript error reappeared. App crashed (white window) and could only close app via task manager. Did a complete removal of the app and rebooted pc. Then wanted to perform a new install but cannot find a latest version anywhere ??? On rose site 5.9.6 date feb 2025 is latest to download. What is wrong here ??? And can anybody please send me latest version ?Ro

update : i guess the version that crashed was the [Rose Connect Premium (PC/MAC): V5.9.14] ? Where can I find this ?

Hmmm
I just went into the Rose Connect app for Mac (M1 version) and it alerted me to an upgrade… I quit, restarted… I guess to fast… but after the second try… its working ok.

I think in your case… you may see an automatic upgrade.
Or if you want to re-install, remove, install the latest version you see, and if it works the way I think it will… It should then check for updates and update itself.

Followed the proposed (@Smegel) procedure. Manual removal of app. Reinstall published (old) version, the that version autoupdated itself. No javascript errors anymore. Unprofessional indeed, but 3 years with hifirose taught me its hardware and UI are for sure not meant for beginners, only geeks haha

Glad it worked.
Having spent 40yrs in IT, you kinda learn how to get around some of the quirks.

As to UI… its not that bad. Not as intuitive as Eversolo, but not as bad as the Arcam Solo Uno which is a smaller AOI that was discontinued recently. Works like a charm the UI is bare bones.

Its really a tradeoff though… you give up something for better sound quality.
