An update for this problem?
I have checked your symptoms and forwarded them to the software team.
USB connection is fine, but some DACs have delays or early cuts when using AES/Coaxial/Optical output, and it is difficult to fix.
If adjusting the PCM delay time does not solve the problem, it seems difficult to fix the problem right away.
With Roon no cuts, only with the Hifirose app
Here’s a new video. It speaks for itself. Does a €30 module with a smartphone perform better than a €4,800 streamer?
Yes, already on the point raised. As a customer, I find it a scandal. It’s also a scandal to blame the DACs; the truth is here! The other scandal would be to also note after testing that the RS130 doesn’t perform better in terms of sound reproduction than this combo?
@ ROSEHAN,
Il serait intéressant de savoir si ce souci apparaît avec le DAC Hifi Rose RD160 ?
No worries in USB, only in digital (coax, optical, AES)
Et qu’en est il en I²S ?
On my old DAC which had an I2S input, it was the same problem.
Good morning. What about this primordial function that does not work
You raise requests for modification that do not tarnish the operation of the device : brightness (exemple)…but this is total silence on your part
No answer? It’s still a big problem that has lasted since the beginning!!!
I own the RS130 and the Holo May KTE and with usb no delay problem and with i2s and pll turned off also no problem
Only i2s and pll turned on gives the delay problem.
But this lock problem is inside the Holo May, nothing to do with the RS130
You have to read from the beginning and not just say that it’s the Dac’s fault because if you try with Roon there is no cut with any DAC as explained above
I know, but when I set pll to off I don’t have the delay no matter what input I use when using the rose app
But I also use Roon because I like the interface more
To the Hifirose team: you intend to correct this problem or not.
I specify again (it has been said at least 10 times here) that with Roon the problem does not exist, it comes from your application
Thanks
@ROSEHAN
Hello, I’m testing a Lumin U2X at home. Guess what, no interruptions on the coaxial digital output. It doesn’t crash every morning, especially when testing an external clock. As a bonus, in terms of playback quality, it beats the RS130 and from afar.
No solution for 2 years, it’s unacceptable. HiFi Rose is definitely over for me. You’re hi-fi tourists, you don’t master anything when it comes to software, you’re total beginners. The only positive thing left for you in the end is design, so go back to furniture design.
A former customer, scorned, angry.
I understand your disappointment
On the other hand, the Lumin application is quite basic, it is the same as Teac and Esoteric (which I used for a few months) and it is far from pleasant
I use Aurender s10 device with the same connection and the same Dac but all is ok !!!
Ce n’est pas le Rs130 qui est en cause car avec Roon ça fonctionne parfaitement. C’est l’application que les développeurs ont négligé et continue de prendre les utilisateurs pour des pigeons. [quote=“GuileZ_Kicked, post:1, topic:10197, full:true”]
Hello,
I just bought a DAC that requires a PCM delay to avoid cuts at the beginning of tracks or when searching in the track. On my RS130 this does not work, I use the coaxial digital output.
I can set it in the menu to 500 ms or 3 seconds, it does not change anything at all.
I tested with the Roon application controlling the RS130 where the setting is also available, it works perfectly. Even when moving the track cursor I have no cuts and the sound reappears absolutely instantly. Unlike the RS130 where a fairly significant latency is noted with the loading circle that appears for 2-3 seconds at each action of changing track or searching in the track with obviously a digital unlocking of the DAC.
My RS130 is 100% up to date as well as all the applications.
@ROSEHAN can you help me solve this because it is super annoying.
Thank you very much.

It is not the Rs130 that is at issue because with Roon it works perfectly. This is the application that developers have neglected and continues to take users for pigeons
For Rosehan
… e quindi che dobbiamo fare? Dobbiamo buttare i nostri ROSE? È davvero assurdo! Ma non vi è venuto in mente di testare il dispositivo prima di immetterlo sul mercato? Incredibile!!!
