My question:
Why are all german Podcasts are very old ? F.e. Tagesthemen newsesr from 2023. will bot be the registered Channels be Updates?

RosePodcast is currently discontinued. Adding new channels or countries is difficult.

Open the RosePodcast app on your smartphone.
You can only work with the + key with your SMARTPONE. There is no + key in windows or iOS.

There is only one important question for you:
Does the rosepodcast app have the following features available in iOS Rose Connect as in Android?
- Popularity
- Category
- Subscription
- Parameters
- plus + key
- Q
If all these functions are available in iOS iPhone then you can use the described method.
This method is done with an Android smartphone and the Rose Connect app.
I work with Brave browser and the Rose Connect app with Samsung S9 Note Android.
If not, I advise you to go to the website of:

You can download the program and run it on a trial basis.
The main reason is that you can select a podcast and save a series as MP3 files.

Your problem happened to me too about two years ago.
It was a disappointment, but I started looking for solutions.
I have already told you the best solution.
It is based on windows – android system.
I don’t use iOS.
Based on the print screen of your iPhone, it is clear that the same working method is not possible. The plus + button for rosepodcast app in rose connect of iOS is missing and is only available via Android smartphone. This option is now also missing with RSxxx.
This means that it can still be used in a limited form.
For Windows and Android users, I refer to my previously described method.
The following options are available for other users.
- Windows programs:
- Mediamonkey5 and RadioMaximus
Method :
- With Mediamonkey 5.
- Download the program and install it on your PC or laptop.
- After installation you can add podcasts.
How can you add podcasts?
5. Open your browser and go to Cast Feed Validator
6. By default it is set to United States. For other countries, choose a different country.
7. Find your desired podcast
8. Example: Weltspiegel
9. Press Find Feed
10. The result is shown with the icon, name of the podcast,
validate feed and view rss.
11. Copy the validate feed

13. Go to Mediamonkey and podcast. Right-click and all data will be placed in the new podcast.
You can now adjust the desired settings.
14. The episodes of this podcast are now being downloaded and can later be transferred to another storage location such as an external USB drive and connected to your RSXX.
15. Your RSxxx will scan it and add it to the RSxxx database.
It’s a shame that HifiRose no longer supports this Rose podcast.
However, this is now becoming popular here in European countries because it not only offers spoken podcasts but also catch-up radio broadcasts that are later broadcast via their podcast services.
