Problem with remote control and automatic volume reduction

I am reporting a problem after recent updates with controlling the sound volume using the default black remote control in ROSE RS 201. Each single press of the remote control’s directional wheel and jumping to any application simultaneously lowers the volume level by 1 point. This is tiring, because when selecting a song from the SSD disk or internet radio, the volume automatically lowers several times by 1 volume point, until it reaches 0. Then you have to increase the volume again with the remote control. And this happens over and over.

I turned ROSE off, paired the remote control again. Please help

After several different actions I found a solution.
It turned out that the remote control behaves like this when the batteries are half empty. Apparently they despise the Bluetooth communication. Replacing the batteries with new ones solved the problem.

I’m writing about this because maybe someone has similar problems and doesn’t know what causes them.
