For the latter, I think you need to do a DB rescan.

When you add new files to your SSD, it is recommended to scan the SSD so that you can see added files in Music > Albums.
How to scan
- Rose Streamer > Settings > System Settings > Media Library > Tap your SSD > Scan DB
It takes time to scan the DB. You will see “Scanning DB” message on main menu display.
