I’m having a similar problem while using Qobuz Connect on my RS130. If I play an album or playlist, it’ll play the first few songs and then a song will pause at about the first 9 seconds and then skip back and forth from 0 to 9 seconds without any sound. I then need to start the playlist over or fast forward to the next song until it happens again. Thus, I’ve had to default to the HiFi Rose App, which doesn’t have a User Interface as slick as Qobuz Connect.
@ROSEHAN, please help.
Cheers!
Rose RS130
Rose app version 5.09.45
Rose 5.9.09
DAC is Denafrips Terminator II (12th Anniversary); connected to the RS130 via Audioquest Vodka I2S cable.
There are no specific recordings or tracks; the problem occurs across many different files streamed using Qobuz Connect.
Frequency of occurrence is every time I play a playlist or album.
Please send me an email address to send a video to Rose.
I found the email above. I’ll forward a video.

Has this jump & pause issue been fixed? I’ve been playing QOBUZ for two days straight so I could video the problem, and thankfully it has not occurred.
If the jump and pause issue occurs again in the future, please record a video of the issue and send it to us.
Some things never change. It’s the way the transport is built Boris! You surely know that by now.Did you tell the gentleman with the 250a that Qobuz actually sounds better to most who played through the Rose app?Everybody have their popcorn ready??
It can;t sound better. For a better sound you need to upsample with HQPlayer to DSD2048 with a poly-mega-techno-babble betterizer filter, send the output to a Diretta host, have host send it to a Diretta target over a stand-alone isolated network connection utilizing fiber from a very specific production batch, and feed the target output to a DAC that costs at least $25,000. And you still won’t hear any difference unless every device has at least one highly resolving audiophile grade fuse installed!! And cable lifters. Don’t forget cable lifters!!!

…

You forgot the singing bowls.
I agree. There is far too little recognition of the importance of cable lifters. I prefer lifters made of carbon fiber, but I could be convinced that those made from European hardwood are also up to the task. Midrange just snaps into place and bass frequency bloat is no longer intrusive. And don’t get me started about smeared frequencies, especially with the highs! I can’t believe what a difference was made just getting my cables off the floor.
Issue disappeared for a while but now the “jumping” at the beginning of every song has returned. Can you please issue an update as to how Rose is progressing with this problem?
TY,
D
