I have had a Rose 520 (C8) around 5 months. I agree the sound quality is excellent. I have had problems in getting the unit to work with Qobuz Connect. It works fine with Qobuz and the app. Qobuz connect works but then can pause / stop.
I am connecting to the web using ethernet from a router a very short distance from the router. Any ideas.
Hello, it‘s a well known problem with Qobuz connect and Rose RS520. The question is why and when does this happens Some days it‘s running without any stops, some days you will have several stops with or without further ongoing. I skip the song to the next one and it will run again.
I had issues with Qobuz Connect and my 130. If you haven’t already, use the Rose Connect app to navigate Qobuz, I found it to be less problematic.
Though I have installed the EA-software for the RS520 it should not appear.
Despite of the Rose EA Connect App the Qobuz App should work as Qobuz connect as well. And it‘s working but not every time. Sometimes it‘s annoying when the music stops and you can‘t continue. I‘m still trying to
discover why the problem occurs. Maybe a buffer problem ??
For me it‘s not a big issue but it should be solved by Rose ( or Qobuz?).
Of course it Qobuz Connect should work, but I found that I didn’t have the dropouts or gapping when I used Rose Connect. Just give it a try for a few days, then switch back to Qobuz Connect for comparison. Qobuz and Rose will in time get this sorted out for sure.
Someone else complained about some distortion occurring when using the phone app and Qobuz.

If you can, try the Rose One app.
Also he said the issue was fixed when doing a full reset on the RS520.
Note: His problem was in a distortion in the treble region.
I’d also say use a hardwire connection rather than the wi-fi for network connections.
(Not really happy w the dual wi-fi/bt dongle. Wish Rose did an upgrade and had separates available as options.) [They would have to have the drivers to be added in to the Android OS or available]

Thanks for the replies. Qobuz working Ok using the Rose App. Just a pity it is not reliable using Qobuz Connect.
They will get it sorted eventually. Patience is the coin of the realm with Rose.
