Qobuz Connect wakeup function available in standby mode

Hello to the community and to the Rose team,

generally my RS250 is running great but I have an idea to enhance something related to Qobuz connect.

In my use case, my RS250 is always in standby so I can activate the device when its needed.
When device is on, the device is listed as Qobuz connect device in Qobuz (on iphone).
When the device is in standby, the device disappears from the device list in Qobuz app. In this case I have to turn the device on (from Rose app) and then the Rose device is visible again.

Request:
Is it possible to hold the Qobuz connect feature in standby mode? it would be convenient when the Rose device wakes up from standby when its chosen from Qobuz app.

my other device (Technics SC-CX700) is Qobuz connect ready too and handles the standby/wake up on request things as described.

I agree. It sure would be nice to return to the “last viewed display screen”.

For Roon the devices are available in standby modus, will them wake up start playing and the display goes to play now.
For Qobuz connect it should work similar.
But: Then you’ll have more power consumption in the standby modus and the optimum can be to set it in the configuration (standby with or without running services like Qobuz connect or Roon).

Yeah, roon acts like described… i am not sure if qobuz connect acts like roon behavior, that more energy is needed. It seems that this function is only a running service as listener.

Roon is deep integrated into the base system.
The question is: is qobuz connect implemented the same way or is qobuz connect only available when qobuz app on rose is installed? When the device is running, some part of qobuz seems to run and will be terminated when standby is active…

I’ll think it’s similar to the Roon service (sending in polling a bonjour) and other brands like Naim or Wiim are handling this for Qobuz connect and Roon in standby modus.
