I’ve just updated my Rose RS250A. In the Qobuz app I can now select the Rose, but it isn’t working. It won’t make a connection with the Rose.
Same issue here with the RS130 – since today’s update to version 5.9.02.5, the Rose can be selected in the Qobuz app, but no connection is established.
Same problem here with the 130. After a manual restart, I was also offered an XMOS update. Unfortunately, there is still no connection via Qobuz-connect. I can select the Rose in Qobuz, but this leads to a permanent freeze with a circle in Qobuz.
Rose, it’s better to wait a little longer and get working software! What a pity.
Just updated my RS520 to Ver. 5.9.02
Also updated Rose Connect Premium App to 5.09.04 ( iOS ).
Happy to report that Qobuz Connect appears to be working perfectly. See attached
Hi,
You are on the EA version with Qobuz Connect. See your photo on the bottom left.
it offers me nothing, no update even after a restart, I also disconnected the Rose (250), nada, nothing new, it looks like a gag !
This morning, I updated my Rose RS130 to version 5.9.02…Rose Connect of my PC updated to version v5.9.4 and Rose Connect Android to version 5.9.02.5
On the Qobuz page of my PC, the Rose RS130 appears but does not work and on qobuz on my Smartphone, the Rose RS130 does not even appear
Many thanks for pointing that out.
Now I’m really confused !
I can assure that I have never used the EA version in the two years that I’ve owned the RS520. Maybe it’s a glitch.
This morning, I simply followed the update prompts on the RS 520. I have never switched to the EA version.
Additionally, my app is not the EA version. I’m given to understand that to run the EA version you have to run the EA app ?
Here is a shot of my System Settings.
Strange. Maybe somebody from Rose can comment ?
.
Thinking about it further, the Device Namegiven to my RS520 by Rose has, confusingly, always been Rose -EA !!
One practical glitch is that on some tracks there is a momentary “ stuttering” before it plays. Still some work in progress necessary, I think.
On my RS250 I have the version Early Acess 5.8, no update proposal to 5.9.
Should I be in Early Acess or not, thank you because I’m lost!
There is an official update 5.9, so you should not be on Early Access.
By today Monday the 9th of June, I did update on official Firmware 5.9 and guess what: QC doesn’t work on my RS150b. Neither via iOS nor my Android devices.
Why don’t they test before rolling out?
How did you get it to work with Qobuz Connect? It doesn’t work here
On the ROSE, I went to “System version information”, “Latest version”.
The latest version has been installed, then you have to enter several information to connect to Qobuz, password…and miracle maybe it works with the Qobuz app.
Good luck!
Yes working on the official version now but as mentioned above there is a “stutter” between tracks - VU meters work now though
La version Android de Qobuz doit être mise à jour en 9.1.0.0 pour qu’elle integre Qobuz Connect.
I have installed the new version and Qobuz Connect works for me. It only worked once when I was running the EA version. No stutter for me.
It was too good, after about 2 hours of listening, Qobuz Connect is already not working!
