Question for RS150

Question to all:
I have a problem with my Rose RS150.
For a few days, I can no longer read my music from the Rose connect app!
This only works from Library/Storage.
Do you have a solution?

Did remove the app and reinstalled it yet?
I had to do the same thing but in another situation. I had a demo unit and after that, I purchased my own. That seems to conflict with the app.

That’s what I did.
I also did a scan of the media library and of course turned off and turned on the Rose RS 150.
What surprises me is that when I launch a playlist, no worries and the screen shows the song played.

I do see 2 versions on the app store, am using android. Not sure what are the differences here
Rose connect
and
Rose connect Premium

Am using the Rose connect Premium hence it had the word Premium in it :slight_smile: Never checked the other one.

With the Rose RS150 you can only use Rose connect Premium.
Rose connect is for old devices.
I noticed that when I select an album, the songs don’t appear.
Which might explain why they can’t be played.
They are of course present in the media library.
However, for some albums, the songs appear and there can be played.
I don’t get it!
Maybe wait for a new update?

  1. Then, you can’t play music from TIDAL/QOBUZ/ROSETUBE?

  2. Are you using RoseConnect APP with Android? Or IOS?

  3. Do you have any other phones that can download RoseConnect?

4-1. RS150B > Settings > System Settings > MediaLibrary > Your SSD > Delete DB
4-2. RS150B > Settings > System Settings > MediaLibrary > Your SSD > Scan DB
4-3. After scanning DB is done,
4-4. RoseConnect APP > Settings > Media Library > Import Database again

I tried to download the app on my phone and no problems.
Everything is working.
I think the problem is my tablet.
I had a Samsung s7+ and everything was working fine.
I gave it to my daughter and took an old tablet on android 8.1.
And 4 GB of ram. And an old processor.
I’m thinking a caching problem.
So I’m going to buy a new tablet!
What is the minimum configuration for the connection with the Rose RS150 to be smooth.
I’m thinking XIAOMI PAD5.

We have not tested with XIAOMI PAD 5, but as it’s a new released product, I guess it will work well.
