Questions about RS520

I have a friend who is interested to get the RS520.
Could any RS520 user inform if it is hot while running ?
And does it has standby mode to put the device to sleep ?
Thanks very much

Why do you have such poor friends that they can’t afford to buy something with SFPs??!!

  1. No.
  2. Yes.

RS250A, raises a lot of temperature and heat - #11 by Bonte?

My friend isn’t like you poor ignorant boy. He is planning to put the RS520 in his toilet. Jealous? I bet you can’t afford to get one in the rest of your life.

Wooo, somebody was swearing left and right that he had put me on Ignore list.

Of course, TomTurd was lying. Just like TomTurd always lies, because he is too ignorant and dumb to know the difference, and his friend is obviously as dumb as TomTurd is. Everyone knows that it is the 130 that you put in a toilet.

How does it feel to be so brain-dead, tommy?

It runs warm to hot comparing against proper class a amplifier.
It has standby as all other Rose gear I’ve used and have.
Is there any gear running cold? :grinning:

You’re right, @mkii . Thanks very much for the info.

What’s with the nasty comments. Most folks are very helpful. In my experience, most amps and integrated receivers become warm to hot with the exception of McIntosh.

I have a 520, it gets a bit warm, but nothing bad

Thank you @1029 and @joenoonan for the info about 520.
