R130 internal ssd storage

Having the ability to store music files directly inside the Rose R130 really appealed to me, but many are saying that external storage sounds better, so is it worth buying a 4tb ssd hd to use inside the Rose?

Is it possible to get some feed back not only from users but from Rose developers regarding this topic?

If done well having an internal ssd drive directly within the Rose streamer could bring improvements over an external drive that would need to not only carry the data over a distance but would require extra cables extra to deliver the files to the Rose.

The question if correct is why it the sound with internal storage seems not to be as good as an external storage device?

And if so is it a hardware or software problem?

Did the Rose developers check this comparison between using the internal storage against an external storage set-up?

I tested an external Ssd at length on the Rs130 compared to the internal Ssd. I kept the internal Ssd without hesitation, it works as well Good

I had a difference and a preference for the external Ssd on my Rs150b. Definitely a matter Current amplifier

Many people are idiots.

Because people are idiots and will believe any idiotic thing if it makes them believe that they have golden ears and resolving systems.

Given Rose’s not that great network performance though, external storage might be better just because it is easier to connect it directly to the computer to move files around.
