Random Toslink dropouts

I’m experiencing random toslink dropouts. It’s happening about every 1/2hr. I need to toggle from toslink to another input and them back to get it to reset. Any advice?

And yes…I have tried two different toslink cables.

Please let me know…

  1. Is it OPTICAL IN? Or OPTICAL OUT?
  2. When did it start to happen? Was there any event, like update?
  3. Did you use normally with the corresponding cable and the RS250?
  4. Have you tried power plug out and in again?
  5. Would you try ‘factory reset’ if it keeps happening even after No.4?
    (RS250 > Settings > System Settings > Factory Reset)

  1. Optical in (LG OLED to 250).

  2. Actually started when we first got it (mid December). One other data point is the unit will randomly shut off. I believe we have gone through one update.

  3. Don’t understand this question.

  4. I will perform a power reset and evaluate and report back.

I still have dropouts after performing the power reset. I performed a factory reset and will report back.

I will also test the toslink using my CD player.
