Randomly, but on average, once in 10 times, the RS130 doesn't output music to the RD160

This update file currently only addresses the issue you’re experiencing.
Future updates will include additional bugs and features.

Hello ROSEHAN,

After updating and automatically restarting, the update installation request window reappeared.

I replied that I didn’t want to update (because it had already been updated) and then I removed the key.

Is this normal?

@domrol

Do you still have an external USB drive containing the update files connected to your RS130 rear?
If so, the update pop-up will appear every time you reboot.

Thank you

I did indeed remove it.
My concern was whether the RS130 I/O fix had been implemented.

@ROSEHAN

Hello ROSEHAN,

Can you explain why only my RS130 unit seems to have this random sound output issue that requires the patch you sent me?

@domrol

This issue isn’t unique to your RS130. It’s a software bug.
Several users have requested an update file after reading your post.
We will stabilize the software as soon as possible and fix this issue and other bugs in the next update.

@ROSEHAN

Hi ROSEHAN

My RS130 is running 5.9.09.

Has the fix for the problem of waking up the RS130 without sound to the RD160 been included in this new version with the change below in the changelog ?

  1. Improved stability of Music Cache on RS130.

It continues. Stay with your problem until the next update to be released in several weeks…months?

@domrol
I’m hifirose SQA engineer.

In version 5.9.09, we fixed an issue where audio output would not be available when the RS130 was in standby mode while connected to I2S, Optical, or Coax. Could you confirm whether this issue still occurs after applying the new version?

@GuileZ_Kicked
You didn’t no way understand my post !
Far from a relative negative situation with Hifi Rose, everything was corrected quickly and that’s very good, I thank them very much!

I no longer have any problems waking up from sleep mode since the patch that was sent to me (>100).
And now, a priori, it’s integrated into the latest version of the firmware.

@domrol
Thank you. If you experience any inconvenience while using it, please leave a comment.

Thanks Rose_love for your explanation,

I did not notice this defect when waking up the RS130 from sleep mode since the 5.0.09 firmware.
But, I did not wake it up still as much as with the corrective patch which saved me from this defect over a hundred wake-ups.
