The indicator light on the RC850 remote that came with the RS130 streaming transport is flashing intermittently and causing the display on the RS130 to react. I’ve tried new batteries. I’ve tried letting it sit for several hours with no batteries and reinstalling them. I’ve tried restarting the RS130. Can’t seem to solve it. Any ideas for me? Thanks.
Occasional blinking of the remote control is normal.
The remote blinks as part of the communication check between the RS130 and the remote control.
Continuous or repeated blinking would indicate a problem, but occasional blinking is simply for connection status confirmation, so there is no need to be concerned.

The issue I’m experiencing, while intermittent, can happen more than once in a 60 second period and several times in a five minute period, does this fit with the term “occasional”?
Also, each time it happens the screen on the RS130 moves on the left side.
I find this distracting enough to cause me to remove the batteries and not use the remote.

There is also a possibility that the remote control may be defective.
Please contact the distributor in the country where you purchased your RS130 and request a replacement remote control.
