Are the Muse op amps in the RD 160 socketed? If so, can they be upgraded? I note that the current Muses 02 is no longer going to be produced after 2025 so can we upgrade to the Muses 05 which will take its place later this year?

The Muse op amp currently built into the RD160 is Muses 02.
Even if the RD160 is produced in the future, it is unlikely to be replaced by the Muses 05, which is scheduled to be released at the end of this year.
You can later replace the muse op amp in RD160 with Muses 05, but we are not responsible for any problems that arise during replacement.

Thank you for the response. I am assuming because you said that I could replace the op amps that they are in fact socketed rather than being surface mounted and soldered in place. Is that correct?
