RD160 Firmware update

Hi,

Living in Sweden I have pre ordered an RD160. Its a really interesting DAC and I am very much looking forward to using it in my system.

Previously I have had other DACs. Among the PS Audio DSD. The firmware update procedure on that was rather cumbersome. I now realise that the RD160 doesn’t have a network connection. I have seen that I have a USB C service port.

Since I know the significance of firmware updates, I would very much like to understand the procedure for this for the RD160. Could you please enlighten me/us?

Currently, the RD160 has been released in Korea on September 1st.
Other countries besides Korea will be able to purchase in 3 to 4 weeks.
The RD160 will soon be available for purchase in other countries.

Can you send me or make available the v1.17 firmware?
I find it much better than v1.24 and it seems to me that it corrects the DSD left/right bug in v.1.15.

You should get a new distributor in USA. He could do so much better, there’s almost no discussion of SFP on RD160 and RS130 in USA marketing , which is one of huge advantage of Rose.
