All, good morning, at least morning where I am. I received my RD160 which I am pairing with my RS130 feeding a VTL tube preamp via XLR cables. I am going to connect two disc players as well to the RD and Roon is in my future - though on the fence given the Hifi Rose interface.
I need some basic help on connect the RD and RS and I apologize. You are talking to an analog guy here. I ordered the Cisco cable that is referenced in the other threads. Is that all I need? I am not clear on the two clock connections and as well the ground. Some basic info for me would be great. I would not normally ask such a basic question but the device is so new and there is not a lot out there. I am also unfamiliar with these types of connections and which is “best”. Assume I am willing to purchase whatever cable is necessary.
