Reliability on the RS 250 audio board

On august 2022, I have bought a Rose RS 250 (price 2.304€). Today this product is out of order.
I have sent it to the local reseller (Home Cinema Solutions in France) and the audio card needs to be replaced (audio card RS 250 Rev 3.1).
The total cost to get it replaced is 903,16 €.
1- Do you have any reliability issue on this audio card ?
2- As this unit price represents nearly half the price of a new Rose RS 250, is this approach compliant with your usual maintenance guidelines ?
3- Do you need the audio board for an in-deph technical expertise ?

Hifi Rose will not be transparent on the extent of hardware defects. I have tried to better understand this as my RS130 failed and needed to be replaced. I have asked directly and publicly without reply.

Your money is better spent elsewhere, IMO.

My RS250 has just suffered the same issue, this does seem to be a recurring issue on these and I am awaiting the final cost for replacement in UK.

Update… repair cost in excess of £1300 so, scrap it is then! I like the Rose sound but will look to something more reliable.
