Replacement Remote

I purchased a replacement remote, but it will not pair with my rs250. Perhaps I bought the wrong one? How can I tell which one is the correct unit?

What does your remote look like?

What have you done to pair your remote with the unit?

Where did you buy the remote?

If you’re in the US, did you contact MOFI which is Rose’s US distributor?

Personally, I don’t use the remote. I tend to use the Rose One app instead.

Looks indistinguishable from the remote that came with the unit.

Followed the instructions to the letter (trigged Bluetooth on the remote, found it on the rs250’s utility, selected it).

Bought the remote directly form the hifi rose website.

I am in the US and did not contact MOFI. Figured someone here might be able to help me.

The remote is highly useful, to me anyway. I liked it very much.

Uhm HiFi Rose USA is Mofi Distribution. :wink:

Please help us check a few things:

  1. On your Rose device, when you go to the Bluetooth settings screen, is “ROSE RCU” listed under Paired Devices and displayed in gold color?
  2. Even if the Rose device and the remote control appear to be successfully connected via Bluetooth, do none of the remote control buttons respond?
  3. When you press any button on the remote control, does the white LED indicator blink?
