I had to send my union in for service and when I got it back, it had me set it up with a pin and then I had to send it back again for Service and forgot the pin. I cannot get into the system settings to do a factory refresh because it’s asking me for a pin OK, I have a $4000 paper weight right now because I can’t get past this screen, anybody have any idea how to get past the screen or reset the unit?
I thought someone from Rose talked about how to do this?
If you go thru the power up… and then try to go to and change the settings… you get the ‘Enter the pin’ screen. On the bottom if you press on the ‘Factory Reset’ key word in the phrase, it should do a factory reset.
Please press the area I marked in red to perform a factory reset.
After the factory reset, please set a new 8-digit PIN code that you can easily remember.
