Rollout of the recent 5.07.05 software update (debacle!)

@ROSELOA @ROSEHAN @ROSENEWS @sclee

The rollout of the latest HiFi Rose operating system has been far from successful. Many longtime users, myself included, now find our Rose devices inoperable. I kindly ask that HiFi Rose refrains from posting generic responses like “We are sorry for the inconvenience,” as such sentiments feel hollow at this stage.

Instead, I would appreciate a clear and comprehensive explanation of how this situation unfolded. Additionally, we need to know when a fix will be available, along with specific steps HiFi Rose will take to prevent a similar outcome in the future. It is important to note that existing users never opted to be unpaid beta testers.

Finally, I request a statement from HiFi Rose leadership outlining how the software team will be held accountable. Transparency and a commitment to delivering high-quality products are essential for maintaining trust among both current and future users. I look forward to hearing your responses, HiFi Rose.

Agree 100% . Anything sold for this much money should have much better quality control. I will not be surprised if the whole team maintaining and supporting the software side of the Rose family of products is less than 20 people.

An official reply from Hifi Rose would be helpful and is more than warranted. @ROSEHAN @ROSELOA @ROSENEWS @sclee

I can’t report anything negative, the last update went without any problems. Only the Premium Connect app on Android caused problems, but this was fixed within 3 days. I think the Rose team does a good job, the problems are usually identified and fixed promptly.

Same, everything works

Agree mine works like shit after the Update.
Can,t scan the database anymore or add and delete storage units.
Very anoying.

No problem after the update. All works fine. Thank you, Rose team.

You are clearly in the minority. Happy it is working without issue for you but the majority of the community has had a differing experience.
