More or less a week ago, I started to receive the following message when I try to use my RS151 as a Roon endpoint to stream Qobuz or Tidal: “Qobuz (or Tidal) media is loading slowly. This may indicate a networking or connectivity problem”. I already tried to reset both my RS151 and my Roon server, with no improvement. My RS151 is hardwired in my router. In the same room, I also have a WIIM Pro Plus (also hardwired in the same modem), and Qobuz through Roon in the WIIM has no problem. I also tested using my iPhone as the Roon endpoint, also without problems (only the RS151 has the problem). This happened 1-2 months ago, lasted for 10 days, and solved spontaneously. When I stream Qobuz directly to RS151, using Qobuz connect, it works perfectly. I understand Roon updates may cause instability, but this has never happened with my WIIM pro plus (so I assume having something stable most of the time is possible). Are you working to solve this problem? The RS151 should be state of the art - this should include stable streaming functionalities. Can I expect a solution (and a stable integration) shortly? Thanks.
The issue has been forwarded to our software team.
We will review it as quickly as possible, identify the cause of the problem, and work on a fix.
The issue disappeared yesterday. The only thing I did was enabling the early access mode (an update was installed when I did this).
An early access iOS app was also installed in my iPhone. The EA app is also more stable to control volume in my RA280 (still far from perfect - when the iPhone locks, the connection is lost, and often takes a while to reconnect - not really useful when I need to quickly lower volume, but better / more stable than Rose One and RoseAmpConnect - on the right path, but still needs improvement to be functional as a remote control). Thanks.
The Rose One app is continuously being developed and improved in a positive direction, and we are doing our best to provide a more complete and stable app experience.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by the time required for these improvements.
