Rose 150B balanced output problem

Hello everyone, has anyone already encountered the problem of sound on the balanced output. I listen to music (rose + advance paris z-i1100) I turn off the devices and, for example, in an hour turn on to listen again and the sound from the speakers is very very quiet. Changing the outputs to usb and re-balanced and it’s fine. Sorry for my english. Regards.

Yes, I also have this sometimes. Then i switch it in stand by and then on again and the problem is solved
Doesn’t happen a lot by the way

I have had this happen two or three times, though it’s been a little while since the last time. I also put it on standby and restarted to resolve the issue.

So @ROSELOA or @ROSEHAN , is this a known issue?
Seems more people have noticed this

Hello everyone, for a few days after turning on the Rose Rs150B I wait a few minutes (one or two) and then I turn on the music to allow the driver responsible for the balanced sockets to load calmly, I hope this will solve this problem, I will write about the results after Christmas. Regards.

Have not experienced the problem but will post if it occurs.

Yes, I encounter the issue sometimes. Solved by turning off and on the unit.

@Bitspeed

I would like to ask you a few questions regarding this issue.

  1. It was USB output in In/Out settings, but does it change to another output after power on?

  2. We also tested various DACs, but this phenomenon does not occur.

  3. Does this happen only in Standby mode? Does this symptom appear when the power is turned off completely and turned on again?

Thank you

My RS150B is connected via XLR to RA180. I play music files stored on NAS directly from ROSE player or Roon.

Yes, it happens only when the 150B wakes up from standby.

I put it to standby and back on again. The no sound problem is solved.

@ROSEHAN , I only use XLR out which are connected to a pre amplifier.
When switching rs150 on from standby mode sometimes the output is very low and have to turn pre amplifier volume almost to max to hear anything.
Solution is set rs150 back to stand by and then on again or switch to other input like usb and then back to XLR again.
I did not test if it happens when unit is completely turned off

Hello, this also happens to me on xlr after Rose 150B goes from standby. Now when I turn on Rose, I wait a while and only play music, I don’t know if the reason is the drivers that take a long time to upload, load, but for now it’s ok. Regards.

Hello

We apologize for any inconvenience caused during use.
First of all, similar symptoms are not appearing in us. I guess I’ll have to do some more testing. If you have any users with these symptoms, please check what the frequency is.

Thank you

Witam.
Problem z bardzo cichym dźwiękiem nadal się zdarza.Najczęściej jak rose 150b jest włączona po stanie ,standby mode’’.Nie jestem pewien czy jak włączę ją ze stanu ,power off’’ to też to się dzieje.Pozdrawiam.

@DyzioFatalista

It is normal for the RS150b to make some noise as long as it is powered on. If you take a video of the sound and send it to the email below, we’ll check what it sounds like.

,Hello

As a result of checking your video and its contents, this is shown as a Hardware issue, not a Software issue.

Please contact the distributor in the country where you purchased the RS150b and send the information.

And please tell them that Hi-Fi Rose said that it seems to be a problem that the audio board needs to be replaced.

Thank you’’.
