Rose 150B - is it possible to alter resolution on the LCD screen?

hi everyone - new 150B user here. Are there options to alter their resolution on the LCD screen? I occasionally see some errors related to the resolution and then it disappears. I haven’t had a chance to capture the error. I’m not trying to play videos or connecting to TV at this point. I’m just using it for audio.
Has anyone faced this issue before? Does anyone have tips on being able to manage the resolution settings on the device itself?

Thanks!

Hi rosehan80,
Not quite sure what you meant by the errors related to the screen resolution. Does it affect the display shown the screen?
Also, as far as I know, there isn’t an option to adjust the resolution of the screen on the 150B.

An error about resolution appears on the screen for a very brief period but then it disappears! So although I couldn’t capture the error (or even take a pic), it prompted me to go looking for resolution-related settings but I couldn’t find any. That’s why I plated my original question.

There’s an HDMI Resolution option under Display in Setting. I don’t think there is one for the resolution of the RS150B screen.

You really should connect it to a tv. It’s one of the best things about Rose. The Rosetube app. And also, I really like the big screen showing me the cover art.

@rosefan80

Rose device–>Settings–>Display–>HDMI resolution
You can change the HDMI resolution by following the above method.

However, if you set the HDMI resolution to a value that your TV does not support, your TV may not recognize anything played on your Rose device.

@ROSEHAN @Jeep & @TomT - thank you all for writing back. The 150B isn’t in a room with a TV right now but if uh, boss approves, it’ll move to the main living room with the TV :slight_smile: I’ll be sure to connect it to the TV then and now I know that the resolution is for the TV and not the LCD screen.

Great. I am sure your boss will enjoy the sound and video quality via the 150B.
