ROSE 150B / mobile device Connecticut

From about 2 weeks i’m struggling with this shit.

ROSE 150B / Android S23 FE. Non Stop loosing connectivity with mobile device. Refreshig and after couple seconds loosing again. Screenshot in atrach.

Rose v 5.8.0 device EA.

ROSE wired Ethernet / Device same router but via WiFi.

Any suggestions. IP adresses the same.

Here are a few things to check.

  1. Is your RS150b not detected by the device even if you connect it to the same Wi-Fi as the Wi-Fi that is connected to Android S23 FE, not Ethernet?
  2. If your RS150b is version 5.8, which RoseConnect app are you using?
    Are you using the right app among the two apps below?

  3. Is your RoseConnect app also installed with the latest version? Does it still not recognize the app even after deleting and reinstalling it?
  1. I dont use wifi to connect rose 150b device. Only Ethernet.

  2. Rose is 5.8. Remote dwvice is Rose early access.

  3. Version is latest. Yes i was delete all data, cache, unregister and default set up made.

@Wierzbolot

I would like to ask you one thing.

If you connect RS150b to the same WiFi that you connect your phone to, not Ethernet, can’t you find RS150b in your RoseConnect app?

Like i wrote earlier. I dont use wifi to connect rose 150b. Rose is connected to the Ethernet. Mobile device is connected to the wifi.

After reinstall all versions to 5.9 nothing changed. ROSE device loosing connectivity with mobile device and still shows Enable Internet Connection to Rose Device. Its unbelieve.

Well after long time of searching and testing i think i solve the problem right now. I ve switched off this function in my router.

Wifi covering 2.4 GHz / 5 GHz. And it stops loosing connection with my mobile device.

@Wierzbolot

I’m glad the issue is resolved.
If you encounter any other issues in the future, please let me know.

Sorry mate. Problem finally is not solved. After 1-2 hours of testing the problem is back. Back to You question: If you connect RS150b to the same WiFi that you connect your phone to, not Ethernet, can’t you find RS150b in your RoseConnect app?

I’ve switched Rose device to WIFi the same as Remote device - i can find Rose Device and Mobile Device. But after some seconds it shows the same problem “Enable Rose connectivity” What more can we do?

Its immpossible to use device with mobile connection. Whats now.

@Wierzbolot

I checked your issue again, but it seems like your network is not stable.

Here are a few things to check:

  1. Does the same symptom occur when you reset or reboot your router?
  2. The dongle of your RS150b may be the problem.
    Does the WiFi reception drop out when you use the RS150b?
  3. If you have an Android-based device other than your iPhone, does this problem occur when you connect the Android device to the RS150b?

Hey, thank You for reply.

  1. Does the same symptom occur when you reset or reboot your router? - Yes i’ve does it couple times. Nothing changed. Wifi connection stands longer before connection failure.

  2. The dongle of your RS150b may be the problem. - No, it starts without dongle. Earlier i was using only Ethernet.

  3. Does the WiFi reception drop out when you use the RS150b? - No WiFi connection drop out. Every other devices works fine and smoothly. Checked with my internet provider. No losses, no bad logs. Nothing. Streaming from the any other devices to Rose is working fine. I have only problem with Rose Connect App.

4.If you have an Android-based device other than your iPhone, does this problem occur when you connect the Android device to the RS150b? - I use only android device. I dont have Apple device. I use Samsung S23.

Maybe there is issue with the Rose Connect App for mobile. It looks bad. I cant smoothy operate device it’s loose connect all over and refresh status. After that i can connect to Rose.

Best Regards

@Wierzbolot

I have received the two photos you sent.
When I checked the photos, your RS150b and mobile device are connected to the same network.

Lastly, which of the two photos below are you currently using?
When I checked the photos you sent, you should use the app with a black background and a rose.

If you are using an app with a black background, try uninstalling and reinstalling the app.

Thank You for your reply.

Yes i use Rose Connect Premium. Not EA version. Ive already reinstalled many Times rose app and its back. On the other hand streaming via wifi, bluetooth is going smoothly. No connection failure no delays. Just when i use mobile app to control rose i have troubles.

I ve done many times reinstall. Clear cache and settings.

Thank you for you help.

@Wierzbolot

When I checked all your answers, I couldn’t find any reason why your RS150b would disconnect with Android S23 FE.

Please answer some additional questions.

  1. If you have another mobile device other than Android S23 FE, please check if the same issue occurs when you install RoseConnect premium app.

  2. Please check if the same issue occurs when you connect to your RS150b with Wi-Fi instead of Ethernet.

  3. If you have another router other than the one you are currently using, please check if the same issue occurs after replacing the router.
