As I am trying to figure out functionalities on the 201 model, I am not sure if there is the possibility to fix the line out (so it can be used solely as a streamer) and how to disable the amplifier section altogether.
I appreciate any help you can provide.

As shown in the attached picture, if you set RS201’s input and output settings, the amplifier section is deactivated.

What about USB digital out?

For RS201-
When USB OUT is activated, you can not use other OUTPUTs.
You can choose between USB OUT or HDMI OUT or INTERNAL(preamp out & amp out)
*You can see screen on monitor or TV if HDMI cable is connected, without HDMI OUT is activated in IN/OUT Setting.
*RS201 cannot output OPTICAL Input signal to USB OUT.
