I recently sent my 250A in for repair when the display disappeared. Not sure what happened, maybe power surge. was told audio board needed replacing. quick turnaround time to Irvine, CA. Got it back and now I have network issues I’d never had before. Use direct ethernet connection with my static IP address. Swapped switches, ethernet cables, went to wall jack directly, still glitchy. Only appears to happening when I want to access Rose Radio, Rose FM, Apple music, etc… when I stream from Roon it sees it as an endpoint and is stable. HiFi Rose asking me to do thorough diagnostics and says they will forward information via Remote Diagnostics to Korea. Waiting for several days to get resolution here. I don’t use the app at all, just the touch screen on the unit. Any suggestions?
Factory reset?
What’s your netmask? Assuming you’re setting the IP address on the unit.
Can you access your router to see if it sees the device on your network?
Can you ping your RS250 from another device on the network?
Try loading the Rose One app on your PC and/or phone to see if it can see your device.
Lets see what Rose finds out… What got your screen could have damaged more things. But who knows?
thanks. It’s whole home eero mesh system. New home, Fiber gig here. Very fast speeds. I run over 50 devices, no issues whatsoever. I also have a Static IP address unlike most residents. Went into Rose settings to confirm this and listed the IP address. Able to see the RS250 on the network no issue. Have installed Rose one app on my phone and it sees it fine. All very odd…
