Rose 520 problem:sound and mouth moverments are out of sync

2026-02-04T23:00:00Z
When I play my Rose 250 on my TV, the sound and mouth moverments are out of sync: the mouth movements lags sligtly. How can I fix this? How can I synchronyze them?
Thanks for you reply.
Luxe

This isn’t the RS520’s fault.
You need to go into your TV settings where you can set a delay to help synchronize.
Either that… or you need to quit watching poorly dubbed films. :joy: :grimacing:

Just kidding.

The sound comes in thru the TV then to your RS520 thru the eARC connection. So the delay issue is in the TV and not the stereo. (The TV will delay the sound to sync w the video by a selected value. )

You can google for more information on this or check your TV’s manual on how to set this up.

@Luxe

If you use the TV speakers and the optical output at the same time, the issue you mentioned can occur.
In the case of the RS250, there is an inherent delay because the unit receives a digital signal and then converts it back to analog for output.

To improve this, we recommend not using simultaneous output from the TV speakers and the digital output. Instead, use only the digital output with your RS250 + amplifier setup. Also, you can achieve more accurate synchronization by adjusting the digital audio delay setting in your TV’s sound settings.

As @Smegel mentioned above, you can go into your TV settings and adjust the delay to help synchronize the audio and video.

Thank you, for your quick reply.
I think that I can manage it now.
Thanks,
Yours sincerely,

Smegel,
Also you thank you for your kidding-) and help.

Were you able to find the settings?

It will vary by TV manufacturer… and for models like Samsung… you can google for instructions.

Note: on YouTube… sometimes its the video itself.

@Smegel

Yes, as you mentioned, the settings may vary depending on the TV manufacturer, and for models like Samsung, you can find instructions by searching online.
