Is it possible to use my Rose App to control my RS130 while streaming via ethernet cable?
Absolutely yes. It is designed to work that way my friend .
How, using the Bluetooth connection?
Wi-Fi. Make sure your handheld device is on the same network as the wired connection to the unit.
Bicycle and Eleven,
Thanks for the response. If the RS 130 and the handheld are on the same wifi network, will the RS 130 use the ethernet input to stream? Or will it use the wifi to stream?
The device has an ethernet and wifi setting. Go to the setting icon on the device homepage
You should not put RS130 on a WiFi at all, if you have Ethernet available for it.
As long as the streamer and your control device (e.g. phone) are on the same network, it should work. Whether one of them is on WiFi and the other is wired does not matter.
If you are using normal domestic wireless router, by default everything should connect to the same network and work just fine.
Don’t listen to this guy Boris @BorisM he’s never seen a rs130 before. I’ve had a rs130, rd160, ra180 and currently have a rs451, rs151. He gives a lot of misinformation based on lack of product experience/ownership.
Please, just stop…….
I’ll make an offer, as long as Boris doesn’t insult or disparage anyone, I will absolutely do the same. So well see who is the true source of this problem. I am only doing this to show Boris how it feels on the other side . He has no right to insult anyone or call anyone named.

Wow how about this , I will agree to stop posting if Boris does also. Moderators, please ban both of us for one month !! @ROSELOA
You could have tried not posting BS, but I understand that this is beyond your ability.
Meanwhile, I hope the OP manages to connect his phone and Rose to the same router and can use the app for control.
