"ROSE Connection Failure"

I am trying to connect my laptop to my RS250, but I get a “ROSE Connection Failure”. It used to connect just fine, now it doesn’t? The 250 indicates it is connected to my WIFI, as is my laptop?

I can’t figure it out, any help on how to diagnose and fix, would be greatly appreciated.

Oh yah, get Amazon Music added!

Amazon Music is still under internal review and consideration within our development team.

My advice for you is that if your devices can’t play Amazon Music gapless, don’t waste your time adding Amazon Music.

Brillant advice Einstein.

Wow. That was advice for Rose, to not add another feature (Amazon Music) if they can’t implement it properly (see Rose’s implementation of Apple Music).

But thank you for the compliment Colonel, Einstein is one of my heroes.

I hope you have solved your connection issue by now.

Rumour has it that gapless does not work well on Scumazon Music on anything that isn’t a phone/computer running full app…

Dear HiFi Rose users

First of all, we would like to sincerely thank everyone for your patience and for sharing your honest opinions.
We understand the frustration and disappointment many of you have expressed regarding the Amazon Music integration and update timeline. We acknowledge that our communication has not always been as clear or consistent as it should have been, and we sincerely apologize for that.

We agree that Amazon Music is an important service, and we would very much like to implement it.
We have continuously been exploring ways to add Amazon Music support, and we are still working toward that goal.

However, although we originally believed we could deliver the feature within the timeframe previously mentioned, the reality has been more complex.
Each music platform provides API access differently, and some do not officially support or open their API at all. This has made the development and approval process more difficult than anticipated.

We apologize once again for not meeting the expected timeline.
Nevertheless, we want to make it clear that Amazon Music remains a priority for us, and we are committed to implementing it in the future.

Thank you again for your patience and continued feedback.
