Rose Radio Go to full station screen after Selection

Currently, when a station is selected from Rose Radio presets and the selected station begins to play, it plays from a tiny rectangle at the top of the station preset screen. Please consider changing this to going directly to the display of the full radio station screen after its preset selection where Shazam also shows, in a future update.

I love Rose Radio. It’s a big improvement.

We apologize for any inconvenience caused. I relayed the information to the software team, but was informed that it was difficult to reflect the information.

Rosehan,

Thank you for making the effort.
I appreciate it.

Rosehan,

I just bought a 520 today for my second home and surprisingly, when a radio station is selected with the remote it goes directly to the full radio screen with Shazam on it. How can the same program work just as I requested on the 520 but is too difficult to make work on the RS130?

You said in another post that you can select full radio screen or music search icon through the remote control on RS130. Could you please shoot a video and send it to the email address below showing the difficulty in operating the RS130 with the remote control?

Rosehan,

First I start at Radio Home and select a radio station.

The point I was making is that on the RS 130, when a radio station is initially selected from the list of them on Radio Home, that the selected station appears at the top of the list of radio stations. I cannot get to the full radio screen for that selected station using the remote. I must get up and, go to the RS 130 and touch the playing radio station display at the top of Radio Home which then takes one to the radio full screen which is the only screen where I can select the Shazam icon, by pressing the left arrow on the remote. Once the Shazam icon is highlighted, if I then press the OK button on the remote, Shazam will display the album cover for the song that is playing on the radio station.
A good solution would be to allow Shazam or at least the full radio station screen, to be selected from the programmable key on the remote as another option.

If you need a video of me selecting these inputs on the remote, I will provide it.

We checked and found that you can select the menu you mentioned using the remote control on the RS130, as shown in the photo below.

Are you connecting the remote control to RS130 via Bluetooth?

If it still doesn’t work, please use the following.
RS130 -->Settings → System settings → Remote control favorite settings → Set as current playback screen
Just press the Favorites (rose icon) button on the remote control.

You are displaying the “Radio Home” screen and not the full screen for a particular station where the Shazam box is displayed.

My remote is listed as paired on the Bluetooth screen.

Pressing the “Favorites” button on the remote to go to the Rose Radio screen does nothing even though In Settings the Favorites option for “Rose Radio” has been selected.

If I manually go to the Rose Radio splash (opening) screen, the top left icon of a radio is highlighted along with Recently Played Channels (should be stations). To the right on that same screen is what radio station is currently playing in the small window at the top of the Rose Radio screen.
If I manually press on (not using the remote) the small screen listing the playing station it will take me to the full station screen which is what I would like.

However, it’s more difficult with the remote. I have discovered that using three right arrow presses move the highlighted section to the top listed station and one up arrow press gets you to the currently playing station box .
One more option in Favorites would fix this (presuming that you also fix the failure of the Favorites selection button to work on the remote). Just make it the “Current Rose Radio Station.” Then the remote’s Favorites button could be used to easily access the full radio station screen.
Also, once at the full radio station screen the remote button to change radio stations works.

RS130 has a built-in IR receiver, so remote control operation is possible even without a Bluetooth connection. The IR receiver on the RS130 is located in the lower right corner on the front of the RS130. Take pictures and show us how your RS130 looks in your home.

Does the same symptom occur even if you replace the batteries in your remote control?
If you continue to experience this symptom, contact the distributor in the country where you purchased the RS130 and request a new remote control.

Rosehan,

I’ve sent pictures before. The connection/pairing problem I’m having is with my RS 520 (second stereo/streamer). It is on an open shelf about five feet behind where I sit. Even if I hold the remote two feet away and press the two buttons for pairing, the Bluetooth setup screen on the RS520 will not recognize the remote. The batteries are new and measure at least 1.5v.

You didn’t reply to my request for a slight addition to the Favorites menu. Will you please request that the “Current Radio Station” be added as an optional selection.

I should also state the on the RS 130 even though it’s Bluetooth paired and I’ve made a selection for the Favorites button, pressing it (the favorites button ) on the remote does nothing. Other commands (mostly) work.
