If you’ll use an external DAC in connection it through a digital connection (SPDIF, USB or I2S) the internal DAC will not used.
Just use a digital output. Why you want to use an extranal dac? The dac is very good. But o well I would like to use a tube dac sometimes.

I don’t understand exactly what you mean with your message!
I am using the USB output to connect to my DAC (Cayin-CS-100 DAC.
My point was whether this automatically deactivates the internal DAC of RS 150B or whether I have to deactivate it!

No don’t deactivate your internal DAC. Just use a digital output. Then just select that output you are using.
Moment you use a digital output the internal dac is not used

As far as I remember, when you connect an external USB DAC to the RS150B, it will ask you which DAC you want to use. If you choose the external DAC, the signal will bypass the internal one and go to the external DAC. No specific deactivation needed.
