Rose RS130 doesn't wake up from sleep/standby after the last upgrade

Hello, as per the title: Since I have upgraded the system of my RS130 to the latest version I’m experiencing this issue.

If it goes into standby pressing the power button (from device or remote) doesn’t do anything. I’m forced to force reboot by pressing for 5 seconds.

Can you please fix this issue ASAP.

Someone here wrote that he pressed the power button twice and the device turned on.

I obviously tried to press once or twice or 3 times. Nothing happened. I was forced to hard reboot.

Now I just disabled the automatic standby…but can this checked by Rose and corrected?

We have not been able to confirm this phenomenon on our side at the moment, so we will look into it further and respond once the symptom is confirmed.

I am also having the exact same problem. The RS130 seems to go into a deeper sleep than it used to when put into standby and does not wake up from standby without holding the power button down.

When you press the power button, the relay makes a noise.
When you press the power button on your RS130, the relay makes a noise, but the power doesn’t turn on?

Hello, I was able to record a video of the issue. You can see that the only solution was to hard reboot the unit keeping the power button pressed. I started to experience this issue after the latest update.

Personally, I wake up my RS130 from sleep mode via my Logitech Harmony Elite remote control which has its IR power On/Off command recorded and it wakes up normally since the latest update 5.9.07

Are your RS130 power issues persisting after a factory reset?
RS130–>Settings–>System settings–>Factory reset

No worries about waking up since the update. (RS130)

Yes it is possible to return to the previous version you have to send an email to the team that will send a match

Factory reset seems to resolve the problem first, but after a few starts/stops I’ve the old behavior…
So I was going back to the latest EA 5.8.03 (you need here also the EA apps) and now all the standby problems are away.

I got same problem but with rs-250a. Once in standby, it’s impossible to wakeup the unit, also the button power light doesn’t lit anymore.

All this with latest firmware

Tonight my RS130 won’t turn on at all - I will send a video later - Come on HiFi Rose please fix this.

UPDATE - Remote doesn’t work either and i do not know how to upload a video

Just to confirm that my RS130 is now completely dead and refusing to turn on :angry:. How do I upload videos?

@conrad I’m sorry to hear that… what happened exactly? Why your unit is now dead? Try to keep the power button pressed for 5-10 seconds.

I don’t know how to upload the videos on this forum, I simply pasted a Google photos link of my video (above).

Rose should comment and fix this issue. I believe (hope) it’s only a software issue. Therefore, in theory, easy to fix…

Excuse the unflattering angles but here is me trying to turn the unit on using buttons and the remote - no response, but the relay(s) are clicking.
Is there a way to do the suggested factory reset without being able to boot it up?

Rose support - please advise as to how to proceed. I have no way to stream music currently which is very distressing.
