Rose RS130 standby mode

Hi,
I have just bought a set of RS130. May I cover it with cloth to prevent dusting getting in when it was in standby mode? Since I found that It still emit some heat even in standby, tks

We do not recommend using a cloth cover over the RS130, but the RS130 will generate less heat than other devices.
However, please be careful as the heat may be completely trapped depending on the thickness of the cloth and the coverage area of ​​the RS130.

What is the purpose of stand by mode? Why not just shut it off?

There were many requests to return the Rose device to standby mode when not in use for a certain period of time. If you completely turn off the Rose device when it is not in use for a certain period of time, there is an inconvenience in that it takes time to turn the Rose device back on.
