…Shaft… It’s like they aren’t even hiding…
Yes, quite expensive. I fact even more expensive than the streamer it self. I also heard there is Gustard OXCO clock. Price a lot more reasonable.
Based on feedback from this chat group, I bought this fiber optic switch the cable and sfp modules and connected my hifi Rose 130. It reduced noise levels quite a bit and improved clarity. Definitely recommend this simple change in network for streaming.
After having the RS130 for about a month here’s my opinion: The RS130 is not for everybody. It is most certainly not for the average music lover. It is not even for most HiFi enthusiasts. It is best utilized and enjoyed by a very serious music prosumer.
In short, it is the Trinov of Transport/Streamers.
That said, it is far from perfect. The cornucopia of capabilities makes criticism easy because it’s not perfect. and it is definitely not. However, the bones are there.
StandardModel
In our area, most of them bought their flagship model and highly praised them. It isn’t common to buy a clock which priced more than the steamer itself! Remember a clock can be used for other stuffs, not only for a specific machine.
However the merits of getting a cybershaft is, the manufacturer can help to reclock it every 2 years to ensure its accuracy
I agree your point
