Is there a Rose streamer only, no DAC? For those who already have a good DAC and simply need a streamer to connect via a digital cable (i.e. USB cable) to DAC.
The display is gorgeous! And big.
I have an RS250 which I use as a streamer only.
I have attached my own Denafrips DAC to it via its USB.
This disables the internal DAC and I uses the XLR Balanced outputs on the Denfraips connected to my AMP.

I understand that can be done, but, I was asking whether a stand alone streamer exist. No DAC. Some people would not want to spend unnecessary money for the DAC portion of a player, if they already have a DAC, and simply need a streamer.
It sounds like Rose does not do stand-alone streamers? They all come with built in DACs?

No I don’t think they do looking at their product range.
If you just want a network/wifi streamer with an app look at something like the ifi Zen streamer.
Taking away the internal DAC probably won’t save you much. For example look at Lumin products.
If they do release a transport-only streamer and price it much lower than RS201E/RS250, it will most likely cannibalize the sales of RS201E/RS250/RS150, and infuriate existing customers like me LOL
