The Rose software is continuously switching back to AAC in stead of FLAC in Tidal. Only logging out of Tidal en logging in again resolves the problem. This is of course very annoying. Searching the forum clearly shows that this is a problem that exist for many many months now. When are you finally going to fix this really annoying issue?
Hello Michel,
The issue you mentioned has been known for a while, and the cause actually lies with Tidal, not with Rose.
If you’re tired of dealing with this, you’ll need to disable caching in Tidal. After that, log in again, and you’ll be able to enjoy uninterrupted music.
So, the root cause is data caching in Tidal, which you can turn off in your device’s settings.
Yeah, I know I read this a while ago. The thing is though that caching is not switched on. I switched this of a long time ago (on the Rose RS150B in Tidal settings). So this did not fix my problem at all.
It often happens that tracks are loaded on Tidal as ACC. This can also happen if you use the ROSE application for a personal computer (MacOs)
Next, if you’ve ever used caching on Tidal, you should delete the contents of the TidalCashe folder, otherwise you’ll continue to play the same cached tracks.
Please answer a few questions.
