Rose Tube on TV?

Isn’t Rose tube meant that the actual video is played back on the TV when connected with HDMI?

All I get on the TV is the preview image like shown on Rose tube and title, some meta data and the progress bar. And yes the progress bar shows the progress through the seconds and minutes when Rose tube is played, but the actual video is only on the screen of the RS 150b…

You must turn on the tv by clicking on the switch that is appearing on the upper right corner.

Many thanks, François.
During my trials I discovered that Icon and thought I surely must click on it to activate it, but no matter how many times I clicked on it, it always stayed on “off”.

Obviously signal goes to tv because you see thumbnail and infos on it.

The switch won’t toggle on if there’s no HDMI cable attached or signal detected. Usually a message briefly appears on the RS150b screen.

So, you need to do more tests.

  1. If you haven’t tried, toggle the TV switch directly from the RS150b (not from Rose connect apps).
  2. Is your RS150b connected directly to the TV or on a home cinema receiver/processor ? If it’s the latter, try to connect directly to tv.
  3. Try an other HDMI cable.

I changed the HDMI cable to another input of the TV and did also cold restart, (not soft reboot) of the RS150 on and yes, the icon is there and when I click on it changes now (to on) and the TV actually shows the video.
Actually it should have worked the first time, but one never knows why.
