Rose150b to Mcintosh C2700 for videos

Hey all, need a little help from someone familiar with the McIntosh c2700 and connections. I want to connect my Rose 150b to my system and be able to stream 4k videos from my rose. Currently my TV is connected to the HDMI (audio only) input on my C2700 (DA2 module) so that I can hear my TV sound through my stereo. I don’t want to lose that ability. I also want to have my rose connected so I can stream music and videos. How do I connect the Rose? Could I connect the Rose XLR outputs to the C2700 XLR inputs and connect one of the Rose HDMI outputs directly to the TV? What other options are there? Also, while on the topic, are the XLR outputs on the Rose the best connections to use for sound quality? Or should I connect to the C2700 using USB, Optical, RCA, something else?

Additional info: also connected to my LG C8 TV is an Apple TV 4K, and I have a bluesound node 2i connected into the system. The amp is an MC275 with Klipsch Heresy speakers.

Thanks for helping out a newbie.

If you want to play video on RS150b and watch the video on TV, just connect it to the HDMI port on the rear of RS150b. Then, change TV OFF to on at the top right of the video playback screen.

In general use environments, XLR is believed to have an advantage over RCA in terms of sound quality.

  1. The balanced output is directly connected to the terminal through the I/V conversion circuit from DAC.
  2. The unbalanced output goes through an I/V conversion circuit in the DAC and an anti-phase removal circuit before being connected to the terminal.
(This is also why unbalanced output usually has half the level of balanced output.)
The balanced measurements are also slightly better than the unbalanced ones.

Also, I think the cable you use may also have an effect, so the opposite may happen.
